Heron's Note

Denim is foundational. It's in almost everyone's wardrobe, so adding it to my Foundation collection was a no-brainer. I wanted to keep these jeans simple and focus on achieving a look that felt timeless and versatile, so I went with a classic straight leg fit. Every detail was designed with intention. The custom 2-part metal button up top was developed by hammering a shiny metal layer around the button, something that felt both industrial and elevated. The buttons in the fly were deadstock found at our factory, a nod to our less environmentally destructive ethos of using what already exists. A mistake during an early wash test inspired the barbed wire effect that runs up & down the leg. I love when imperfections become part of the story.
