when i started to make THE YOUNG AND THE BANGING for fashion and the arts (NYC edition), i mentioned to my friend and co-creator Laura Gerster that i wanted some banging up and coming models in the book as well! i felt models would add that dynamic so imperative to fashion and lifestyle in new york city. unique beauty, from the runways to the streets, they are a staple of NY life. Daiane was one of them. she’s a model from Brazil and just made the Feb 09 cover of VOGUE Brazil. congrats Daiane!
