worken hard for the money

Very New York

so i flew out to help present some insights and 10 rules on communicating to young people today to some big head hanchos out here. the suit and ties that don’t get it. our language, our style, our behaviours, etc.. had to help them see the world through our eyes. they wanted us to present to them for 1 hour. the day after i arrived, they ended up changing their brief, asking us to only prepare something to last 20 mins long and didn’t want any of us agency folk in on the meeting. they wanted to take what we were going to present to them to another internal meeting to show their people. so they wanted a “plug / play” version. big curve ball. as naked was not going to physically be there to present the work, we had to figure out a way to still be there to present our work! a keynote slideshow was not good enough, because there was a lot of explaining and examples we had planned to do in our presentation and it wouldnt have flowed right, so we decided to make a 20 min film with a bunch of content in between the 2 partners Paul and Jason explaining everything. we got a flash designer to make it kind of look / feel and flow like our website www.nakedcomms.com, fully naked-izing the work. these are some shots from behind the scenes.

the communication and advertising world seems so much more complex and interesting these days, at least for companies that want to aim for this new type of consumer. thx for filling us in on the process.
