the 6 hour commute NYC-AMDAM

Very New York

it was storming up top, hella dark, but luckily no turbulence. me hate it!
flying to amsterdam

finally started to see land after flying over the atlantic. was an ill view flying in from over the coast, where the water had finally met the land. too bad i didnt catch that photo i had put my camera away but took it back out for landing. the atlantic is actually all the way out in the distance if you look hard enough.

right when i touched down my hotel room was not ready, so i walked around and found something my heart has been set on since i was here last, over 2 years ago. a broodje haring and a broodje shrimp. for those that don’t know, these are like a national dish. they are fish sandwiches served on a really soft and kinda buttery roll, similar to what lobster rolls are served in. the haring(not pictured because i ate that first and so quick i didnt even think about my cam) is served with pickles and diced onions. i then walked down the street still kinda hungry and found the shrimp version. bread thinly layered with thousand island. super bomb, fur suuuurrrree

then i had to head into work. another day, different city.

That shrimp sandwich looks fuckin delicious. How much? Reminds me of some shit I use to get down in New Orleans back when I was younger.
