21 Mercer St by Nike Sportswear

Very New York

last night was the 21 Mercer st block party hosted by Nike Sportswear. It was the launch of the first ever Nike Sportswear store. it was a celebration of everything inspired by New York sport and style. They had like two 100ft jumbo screens stretched across mercer st. with a slide show on rotation featuring works by artist Robert Wilson and producer Noah Khoshbin, photographers Timothy McGurr and Boogie, and myself. They previewed some of THE YOUNG AND THE BANGING!Below is a look through my cam of the event.Didnt catch as much as I would have liked. It was a pretty crazy night. Totally unexpected.  They took “block party” to another level. It felt like I was entering a stadium for a major sporting event. But not too sure about the write up in their program. hipster blogger?mogul in waiting?! horrible. this is a tough game.
