when i arrived to paris on the afternoon of fete de la musique, it was hot. my first time in paris when it had been that hot. there were tons of people out, the entire city was partying. bands on every corner. street performers, cars burning and accidents. everyone on their bikes. the city was alive like i had never seen. everyone was of course drinking as well. getting their lean on. tough guys like to have fun when they drink. my dad calls it courage juice. later that night pain au chokolat had a block party in pigalle where keith murray performed. at the end, i hear fighting. i look up, one dude is getting walked away with 1 friend, patting him down. the guy had his head down, like he was exhausted, but not hurt. obviously he got the hit off, cause the other dude was mad with a bloody face, surrounded by all his homies trying to hold him back. i snapped a photo and as the flash went off, he looked at me right in the eyes. got heated started to yell in french then tried to rush me. homies had him. then one of his homies started to rush me. i was like oh shit all these fools are about to rush me it’s over. my first night in paris. then im like “yo homie its cool. its cool”. maybe he couldnt understand english and quickly learned he wouldnt be able to argue with me, so left. but whatever i said worked. hey, just be cool.

p.s. haha, look at his homie checking out his white shirt on the right side of the photo. can’t nothing stop the style. not even a fight. had to check in the middle, then get back to fighting. haha. what if that dude would had seen me snapping this photo? he looks like a big fighter homie. instead he wanted to go dancing after. he had that two step in mind. yeee! yeee!
