Naked Photoshoot

Style, Very New York, Videos

as told by my co-worker, joe. Also, check the video I filmed + made at the bottom of this blog post from the entire day, start to finish! it’s pretty saucy i must say so myself. sun dance film festival 6 thumbs up. you might see me in there somewhere stuntin.

Recently Naked NY took our second annual family photo. The 2007 Naked NY family photos set the bar pretty high.

This year with almost triple the employees we had to take it to the next level. We kept the same theme of Grimaldi meets Dynasty and official Naked Communications photographer Akira Ruiz returned. However, instead of shooting the photos inside the office we chose a more appropriately dramatic setting.

We loaded everyone into a bus and treked out to Old Westbury Gardens, the former estate of John Shaffer Phipps (1874-1958) a lucky son of Henry Phipps, Jr. (1839-1930), a capable financier who himself had the good fortune to be a childhood friend of Andrew Carnegie. You may recognize the estate from two of my favorite movies North by Northwest and Cruel Intentions.

The final product is still being developed under the care of Akira and “Mariah’s Retoucher”. While you wait anxiously for it to arrive tide yourself over by taking a look at some of the individual and group test shots posted on flickr.

For those of you who can’t get enough of our charming eccentricities take a look at the short video about the day filmed and edited by Times Square billboard model and Naked Strategist, the Heron Preston Johnson:

I got to say events like this make the work environment of actually feel like family is a great idea. I’d love family photos of my coworkers on this scale. The wardrobe is badass. Keep it up Naked.
