New York has the worst Mexican food, San Francisco has the best which is why I am all about eating Mexican and mostly only Mexican when I eat out in S.F. Why doesnt NYC have amazing, or at least decent Mexican food like San Francisco? I’m talken about those big ass soft Burritos, Horchata and all of the other juices made in house, Nachos, Tacos, Tostadas, beef tongue and brain. Limon, Jalapenos y Salt para mi comida y Jarritos de Mandarina para una bebida! Come on, don’t get me started. Why arent there any cool taquerias in NYC like the ones on Mission St? Why do we have those digusting TEX MEX in NYC that arent even run by a TEX or a MEX? Maybe they should be called CHEX if you can dig what Im sayen. Don’t you realize how many people from the west coast now live in NYC?! Don’t you realize how many more will come for work, school and travel?! Please NYC, someone open up a real Mexican joint, it could even be a place like Nick’s Crispy Tacos, which isnt really like a Taqueria from the Mission, but it’s a place I could see working in New York. O, cannot forget, real Mexican food prices count as well.

So the HUF Squadron 2 (Hanni and Keith) and I drove over to Mission St. for some Mexican food, then hit streets.







The art found in taquerias is apart of what makes them so special. Hint Hint*. I think Serge Becker, the guy who teamed up with A-Ron (aNYthing) on the 205 Club, and owner of La Esquina in SOHO of NYC hit that one on the nose.
